Rich’s public accounting experience focuses heavily in the financial services and real estate industries. His clients include high net-worth entrepreneurs who concentrate their attention on the practical side of business. Rich consults from the planning stage forward; assisting in the choice of entity, providing direction in the financing and delivering the necessary accounting and tax planning and compliance filings.
In addition, Rich is the primary partner on several of the firm’s major audits. These range from clients required to be audited for regulatory reasons - such as broker/dealer or investment advisory firms - to medium-sized companies that are required to be audited for banking relationships - and U.S.-based subsidiaries of international companies requiring audits for ultimate consolidation into the parent’s financial statements.
Rich received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University and his master’s degree in taxation from DePaul University. He is the Northern Region director of NACPAF (a national association of accounting firms). Additionally, Rich participates in Morison International (an international association of accounting and professional firms). He is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.
